Club Rules
Audley Gun Club in essence follows the CPSA Rules with the following exceptions: -
1. Guns to be loaded only at the respective firing points and carried unloaded and open/cased from stand to stand.
2. No more than two cartridges in the gun at any one time.
3. On single bird stands, only one cartridge to be loaded at any one time.
4. Maximum cartridge load to be 28 grams and shot sizes no larger than No 7's.
5. Felt Wad Cartridges Only
6. All Shooters must pick up their empty cartridge cases and place them in the bins provided.
7. All birds to be taken in front and on no account must a shooter turn on a bird that has passed overhead.
8. If a malfunction occurs on a ‘thrown pair’ stand the pair to be taken again with both birds to count.
9. If a malfunction occurs whilst taking the second bird of an ‘on report pair’ stand the pair to be taken again with the second birds to count.
10. Strictly no practising
11. No members to approach a trap except in an emergency or instructed to do so by a committee member.
12. Shoots - 3rd Sunday of every month at 9.30am. Strictly no entries after 11.00am
13. Each member must have a valid current shotgun certificate
14. Class AA, A, B, and C based on three best shoots in previous season.
15. Members must abide by the rules of the club and directions of club officials.
16. The club reserve the right to refuse membership or expel existing members should the need arise.
